I’m seeing Facebook posts where insufferable, entitled, and self aggrandizing teachers are proclaiming that it’s their choice to go back to school, and they should be revered as the hero’s they are if they so choose.

Usually tagged along with the mass of sacrifices they make to do the job that they love, but they don’t do it cause they have to, it’s because they put the needs of our children above their own.

So we all need to keep our opinions to ourselves cause we clearly do not understand.

Well there’s lots of lazy ones that want to stay home forever. So if they want to brag about going back, fine with me.

Um, they are there taking care of the kids you took to Myrtle Beach when you weren't supposed to leave the state.

Top two stories in local paper today are about teachers picketing school board to not go back. Amazing that they just assume they are getting full pay while pressing to not go to work. Just tell them no pay for no work and see how fast they change their tune.

yep, in a state that ranks at or near the bottom in education year after year, teachers are picketing to NOT go to work.

I’m surprised they don’t want to go back to school so they can get some arse. Been refreshing to not see teachers fricking children on the local news every other day.

Check that article again. That’s LAE saying they polled their members. LAE is a very liberal organization and do not represent all teachers. Screw LAE/NEA

I mean, hasn’t 30% of the workforce been going to work this entire time?

I don't get the 'butthurt' obsession around those who are being referred to as hero's.

Heck, someone opens the door for me - I call that person a hero. Reason for conniption? Probably for some on this board...
