TD vs Texags

I’ve tried looking, but is there anyway a person can see the amount of accounts and posts per day? I use to post on texags very regularly, but now that site is a liberal POS and the mods are even worse. This site is light years in front.

There is really no debate here.

TD at one time had the list of all users online at the bottom of the page. Not sure when that went away.

I want out of my subscription to Texags. Haven't yet found the cancel button. I want out mostly because I am an A&M fan but not an Aggie. And they sunshine pump before every BB, BB and FB season and then underperform. The Aggies are destined for mediocrity. I've just witnessed every year for a decade. TD is much better across the board in forums though the PoliBoard is hopeless now. Liuchi will flat ban an arse if they get crossways.

Just curious. I’ve been on that site for 20+ years. It was great with a ton of posters. When you “crossed the line” the mods would just delete and tell you your done for a while. Now, it’s some punkass who bans you and talks shite about you. Most importantly there is zero traffic. Their “general” board is dead. Although I am an Aggie, their downfall couldn’t have happened to a better bunch of slapdicks

They’re two different sites. TD is a message board. TexAgs is focused on A&M sports with articles, recruiting, highlight videos, a daily web based podcast mostly behind a paywall…it really isn’t a message board or no longer is.

Completely disagree. It is a message board. Yes, they have multiple titles involving athletics, but just as many “boards” that are completely unrelated to sports. I would say they have just as many general topics as TD, but zero traffic

They still have a page for that. Link says user list, but it’s just those logged in

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure TexAgs is affiliated/funded by the A&M AD. The writers never give their coaches or players negative press and the message board mods are very quick to delete posts and drop the banhammer.

Texags business model works best with an enthusiastic fan base. And consider they have a YT broadcast of the radio show. They've invested in a large, new studio. And yet they often have to come in and explain why the Aggies get blown away in the weekends sporting events. Case in point this weekend the Aggies lose at least twice in baseball, in men's basketball and woman's softball. I don't think women's basketball is any good. And as I said in watching it and reading it for ten years it becomes tedious. And they have a bunch of people on the payroll covering sports and recruiting that TD does not. They need good teams and that happens inconsistently. The Aggies should not be ranked in any pre-season football poll. Yeah, that's what I think about TD versus TAs. They will flat delete you out of existence if you have my attitude and express it on their forum. They need to manage the emotions.
Woman's softball is good though. Probably the best performing team.
I like the Aggies. My kids went there. So consider me a frustrated fan who just wants to read the stats the day after.

The site has broken down subforums by Texas regions, plus a lot of knowledgeable Texans. So it has some great insight and information. But overall this site is way better, just wish there were more Texans

the outdoors board over there is really good. the rest are shite. most of them ruined by moderaters that selectively enforce or interpret rules however they want. zero transparency.

I cannot stand anti-fascist rhetoric. Complete imbeciles over there. I wish someone would link this thread to them. I’d love to let those anti-fascists know what I think of them.

as a texags user, i wouldn't say 0 traffic. I'd just say that they don't have as much because SECRant draws in a lot of fanbases that migrate over to other interests. I showed up here when A&M joined the SEC and found it to be more interesting as far as having an MSB, SECRant, Movie/TV Board (they combine books, music on the same one.)
Regarding it being "liberal," both politics board are equally conservative dominated. TD's with a bit more of a maga flair and profanity.
That being said, much like the music, pels, etc. boards they do have some that lean more liberal (premium, general, etc.)
