I think that everyone in the COA knows exactly what is and has been going on and they all need to go straight to fricking jail.

A lot of "familiar" last names up there.
There is a reason the COA is a democratic voting machine

I just realized that the son SHOWED up before the press conference and spoke during the first few minutes before the press conference started.
Watch Nakamoto'a video from the very beginning for the son's statement.
It's fricking strong!!

it really does seem like there is a politically connected group of "black" people and Gary's main priorities are in pushing their agenda (against any persons who dare oppose them, white or black...democrat or republican). it's jut so random to me that the council on fricking aging would be the random point of connectivity, but life is strange sometimes

Did the family take the money out of the account AFTER Amar called to inquire?
I've tried to keep up with the story but the part I'm fuzzy on was how the grandchildren found out about the will.

I'm so glad the organization in charge of caring for the elderly has become politicized and are promoting race-based political movements. This city is in it's death spiral.

yes, which is why i think they're being sued by the executor (Clark Amar)

There are probably hundreds of examples of things like this going on in NOLA and BR at the moment. Black run cities are hotbeds of corruption.

Yes the family pulled the money out after Amar called them about the will.
They knew nothing of the will before being called but took the money out to deny it to Amar once they became aware of it, as a way of preventing her from looting the estate.

It's all incestuous. The same names continue to pop up in these controversies. The goal is a corrupt hegemony across the city.

I got it now, this case will get interesting.

The WEB DuBois "talented tenth" at work.
They are basically banding together to profiteer at the expense of their lesser brethren.

I used to know a lady that worked for them. The EBRPCOA has been a cesspool forever.

most of these locally-run governmental agencies naturally drift towards "cesspool "status
literal spoils system and a way to get constituents and family members pensions and health insurance (at the bottom...at the top you get constituents and families upper-middle class incomes, with pensions and benefits)

I would say it's probably much more ingrained in the black areas, but our state as a whole is one big fcked up game of political corruption.
And lets not even get started on all of the people associated with different HUD groups that have been busted in the last 10 years.
It pisses me off though that they can fall back on their race baiting bullshite though when the light is shined on their corrupt asses.
For recent white problems, see the Jefferson Parish mess with Aaron Broussard and his boys, the Mandeville police dept, Mr. Impostato, etc.
If we could heavily fund a few good journalist like Nakamoto and Lee Zurich and let them go nuts, they could probably uncover dirt on 75% of the government agencies in this state. Everything from police juries, city police, sheriff dept, parish council, mayors office, HUD, and most def. these little fifedoms of black groups out to get theirs.

The COA manipulating this old woman is despicable, but I'm not naive enough to believe her children/grandchildren are pure of heart either. This woman probably wanted protection over her estate, but naming someone in the COA executrix is a blatant conflict of interest and a fireable offense IMO.

Don't forget that they also use those public funds to set up campaign SUPER PACS. They lobby the public for more money with which to lobby the public to elect people who will give them more money with which they will use to lobby the public for more money. It's textbook corruption.

The FBI could probably indict 95% of the sheriffs in this state if they so chose to investigate. Parish governments too.
