We’ve had tandems for years. Bad luck? Inexperienced parade goers? I don’t know. But a tandem ban seems like a ton of unwanted legal action for the city.

I thought it was 15 I’m on 15 so not a tandem. Since we own our own floats thoth is scrambling

I counted 14 on the Float Listing that was mailed out. 13 doubles and 1 triple.

They're just going to be single floats instead of the tandems. Everyone is still riding.

Here is the real issue that contributed to both deaths. The NOPD is making the floats go faster because they can’t get overtime and they will ticket the float drivers if they stop.

Both deaths are on the City of NO.

Honest question. Why do they use tractors for these parades? Every other parade I have ever been to used trucks or 18 wheelers.

Can confirm. My 6th year riding in Endymion tonight. We were flying down canal St. The crowd was a blur at parts.
