My company gives us two pair a year. I got regular pair and a tinted pair. I love them when driving during the day or at LSU daytime Baseball games.

its best to get the sunglasses

i have the transition lenses and its always problematic when im working outside and need to look into shaded areas so i have to take them off and then im blind but at least i can see what im looking at

if i had to do it over again i would definitely get straight sunglasses for fishing and whatnot and im never getting transitions again. they work ok, just not for my liking and walking inside leaves me standing there blind waiting for them to change back

Been wearing Maui Jim’s for 20+ years. Prescription has always been spot on even with progressive bifocal lenses. Expensive but worth the money.

I have five pair of prescription glasses with clip-on shades. Might be harder to find as they seem to be out of style here in the U.S.

Much like you, I wear reg glasses seldom but for the past 6-7 years I’ve had prescription sunglasses as I’m nearsighted. I do t need them indoors but am outside a lot. I’ve paid for Oakleys and costas. Prob 5 pair through the years. Def worth it for polarized mirrored with scratch coating. Like I said , I’m outside alot. The issue is, the lenses are not from Oakley or costa. Just the frames. I have had no issues with any of them except the harpoon costas as the lenses swirlied really bad. If you have a pair of non prescription frames you like already, there are companies hang will custom cut and fit prescription lenses but it’s all depending on your prescription on price. I’ve paid about 500 a set.

I like Aviators so I had lens crafters put Rx lenses in them. A little pricey but I love them.

Why didn’t you get Costa lenses in the Costa frames? You can get a 580 lens with prescription.

I got a pair of progressive bifocals with transition lens oakleys this year. They go dark in the sun and clear inside. I am very happy without the arm and leg I had to give for them.

I was gifted some Rayban Clubmasters that are prescription and they are amazing quality and better view than my normal glasses.
On the contrary, I bought some cheap prescription sunglasses from Zenni and they are tinted and prescription, but they leave a lot to be desired.

Obviously, $550 sunglasses > $30 sunglasses

Checkout blenderseyewear.com.

Big fan of their regular sunglasses. You can order Rx glasses as well.
