Really? You sound lovely, someone who believes it is ok for your children to ruin someone's experience somewhere. Again, proving the point of today's parents are the problem.
This is making a lot of assumptions. That his kids are assholes, that they don't know how to handle kids, ect.

It is but I based that on seeing most parents and kids in public these days. Also, he thought it was laughable I thought my experience shouldn't be interrupted so it was a logical guess.

This is a core problem with our society. You think you're more important that me bringing my child to a restaurant, which we do every time we go out. You're the problem, not me.
This isn’t what he’s saying. A child at a restaurant is not a problem. A screaming baby, or kids yelling and running around because their parents don’t want to “parent.” Is the issue.
Another poster mentioned that kids are brought out to help them socialize and teach them how to act in public which is 100% true. But, many parents bring their kids out and don’t teach them about being respectful in public and let them do whatever they want. It only shows how shitty the parent is and lets the kid think that they can act anyway they want.

GFY man. We barely eat at restaurants because our kids do this also but e are humans and sometimes we have to get out of the house. We love our children so we don’t pawn them off to others, therefore they come with us the few times we do eat out. I’m so sorry they may inconvenience your sad little life.

He lost several people when he made this statement below. Is there a list of restaurants where kids should be banned?

I had kids and have grandkids but only take them to family-friendly places where they are not disturbing adults. It’s trashy on the part of parents to be so inconsiderate.

Restaurants used to have a no smoking section.
Maybe they should have a no children section.

Why do people bitch incessantly these days.
Maybe this should tie into the when-did-america-turn thread.
People are entitled, thoughtless, impatient and p-p--p pansies.

There is a difference in a 4 year old that parents allow to act how they want without discipline and a baby sitting in a high chair.
If a baby making noises sitting in a high chair making baby noises bothers you, then you can get fricked

Where do you live that you can find a babysitter for a night for only $50?

So you got your panties in a bunch bc mom had on yoga pants and wasn’t paying attention to pip squeak bc she wanted to spend time with her husband and the baby sitter cancelled at the last minute?

Funny to see so many passionate responses on both sides of the argument especially on an anonymous message board.

I’ve taken my kids when younger, my grandkids now, never had a problem. Kids need to have an interaction with the family, but this can be done with the kids behaving themselves. Not hard to do at an early age. Much of the same with what they eat. Start them early on the right foods.

I leave my babies in the car, just crack the window and leave them some goldfish.

Any college town? Find a nursing student, pay them $15 an hour.

People on here tend to get outraged when it comes to their pets and how other people’s children inconvenience them.

Why has nobody thought of a concept of a daycare at a restaurant?
