It has to have something to do with the thinking of the tool.
When I go to the "THINK OF A COLOR AND A TOOL" part, I had to stop and reread what it was saying. Tool caught me off guard. So I thought of the tool first - hammer is the most recognizable tool - and then thought of the color. Red is the easiest color to say, so naturally, I used red when trying to catch up to the directions.

What are colors besides ideas in our head and reflections of light? In reality isn't everything just black without light?
What if what I perceive as red you perceive as blue, my violet is your green? What if time is a flat circle and we are all just colorless beings of waste and pointless emotion? What if your up is my down and your happy feelings are my sad ones?
