Switzerland bans boiling lobsters alive

According to this article you must kill them or stun them before boiling. It is inhumane to throw them live in a boiling pot of water. Can you imagine if the US would try to do this with crawfish.

It is a gruesome practice when you anthropomorphize the lobster, but watching what animals do to each other on r/natureismetal just might inure one to it.
