K. But what about those countries that have lower deaths per million than Sweden?

I mean, we're essentially exactly the same society as Sweden. That could've been us.

In before someone points out relevant data that shows they didn’t do better than anyone else?

they've engaged in a much more costly short-term strategy

it is a variable but only when examined in the full context and not the short term

Is the top graph starting in March and ending March?

Would you rather have a conversation about the general health and well-being of their population compared to ours?

Without looking, I think they've regularly been ranked one of the healthiest countries in the world.

Ya, after July 9th the government decided it was time to roll back to march.

There's no conversation to be had. We have way more deaths because we are a morbidly obese, diabetic society.

Yeah they're all smart, healthy, productive members of society.

Unlike the U.S.

This is true and you can argue it all day long. But the OP's point remains: By not going the full lockdown route Sweden has avoided a lot of damage to its society and economy and they are now done with Covid. All we have done with the shutdowns is prolong the pandemic.

Anyone interested in this issue should do some research on Anders Tegnell, Sweden's equivalent of Fauci. Listen to some of this guy's interviews and draw your own conclusions about who has better served his country.
