Really? You want to compare where Sweden is now next to France, Spain, the UK, etc? Just look at the chart posted above showing daily deaths. IDGAF about "cases." Saban was a "case." No one is dying in Sweden, or at least not very many. There will always be "cases." Sweden got it right. Fauci, et al got it spectacularly wrong.

No, you want to compare Sweden to those countries.

I want to compare Sweden to other Nordic countries. Countries with similar cultures and geography and they didn’t fair better in anyway.

Their economy sucks. They didn’t do much better than Norway or Finland.
Almost 6,000 of them are dead.
They aren’t immune. They have more cases and deaths (still very low) than Norway or Finland.

If America has the best healthcare system in the world why is our death rate higher than other countries?

Because our population is full of morbidly obese people with multiple comorbidities. It's a testament to our healthcare that these fat fricks aren't dead already.

But you knew that.

I see the Masked Covidians are out in force again, attacking anyone who dares questions their Cult of Covid.

Don't hate on the Covid Cults. We all have inferior genetics to make us have ugly faces or scars and want to fit in by covering our face.

4% of the worlds population, and 20% of the total deaths. This country is fricked.

This country is going to be just fine as soon as state and local governments stop listening to fricking crybabies like you.

So what is their benefit? A slightly less tanking of their economy?

Eventual herd immunity and not achieving it yet are two different things. They are further along without shutting down the economy, and their hospitals aren’t overwhelmed

Why are other places seeing spikes? What is allowable and when do you stop shutting down the economy? How many outbreaks or spikes?

There are a few reasons.

One being our general unhealthy nature.

America is pathetic when it comes to health management on a personal scale.

Obesity
Hypertension
Heart disease
Diabetes

We rule the roost in those areas.

Also, the actual management of the situation by a multitude of state governments from NY to LA to MI, where nursing facilities were inundated with sick patients, had led to catastrophic numbers.

Rather than focusing on protecting the most vulnerable, we instead focused on across the board coverage, which was the absolute worst thing to do.

Right that goes back to having the largest international city and international economy of their neighbors. Come on

Sweden has the NYC to their cultural region.

We have a good number of deaths, but China likely surpasss us by miles.

They just aren’t being honest about it and progressives refuse to acknowledge that fact.

NPR actually, with the media version of a straight face, stated that China has had zero cases, a literal impossibility.

ETA: I added this because someone downvoted this post as if it isn’t the most likely situation.

People are so eaten up with hatred for our current government that they accept actual CCP propaganda as fact, or at least defend it.

Not when you stop testing but still maintain that you are.

Knowing the entire time people will believe you because they want to.

Maybe this is due to work stress so we eat and drink too much and have no time to exercise.

TDS has no limits. Combine that with the Cult of Covid and you have one hell of a case of cognitive dissonance.

Not even remotely true.

We, as a society, are unhealthy on a basic level.

It isn’t due to working too much or stress related to that.

Our basic understanding of healthy food is crap.

What we produce as “healthy” generally isn’t so.

Don’t get me started on restaurant or food portions.

Overall, we suck from a basic health standpoint because we have simply been mislead for years...decades.

Everyone remembers the food groups...designed with industry support in mind, not health.

On top of all that, we do not correct for bad behavior, we defend it so people don’t feel as if they are attacked or wrong.

In schools, we remove physical activity, resulting in an epidemic of childhood obesity and ailments, such as diabetes.

We are so astronomically wrong, that I can’t even figure out where to start fixing it.
