SWB trying to get more tax money

The metro council refused to put a new tax last year on the ballot for voters. Hopefully they block it again. Roads suck but I don’t trust her to be in charge of anything.

I'd prefer that the voters get to vote on a sales tax rather than a property or income tax. At least everyone has to pay that one.
But yeah, I don't trust SWB to do anything but funnel most of the money to NBR

Since it’s already done, she can have the tax that is for the Council on Aging. Not a penny more.

I agree. I think the people of BR would be more interested in paying this tax if the person in charge of it were competent.

They also said I-110 is racist because it divides neighborhoods. I guess they forgot that it was built when that part of NBR was middle class white people and not the hood it is now

SWB is a piece of shite and completely unqualified for her position.
However, we could have Ronald Reagan as Mayor of Baton Rouge and he could print the list of taxes and where every cent has gone in the past 10 years in The Advocate, and Baton Rouge people would still vote against a tax fix infrastructure.
