Can y’all imagine how pimp Kip’s wardrobe would be now? Dude had serious swag before and now he’s had a few years to work up his game a bit. I imagine he’ll put Cam Newton’s attire to shame.

Yep. I remember my high school playing Istrouma in football during the 1970's; their team was overwhelmingly white and one of the best teams in the region. Remember the Tiger great and Istrouma alum Jude Hernandez?

Plank Bowl was the bomb when I was in junior high school.

St George needs to rent the billboard on I10 at the children's hospital and have it say:
"Welcome to St George aka the buffer zone for AP. 0 murders since incorporating."

Yeah, that’ll stop the thugs from committing crime.

Here's the facts: throughout our country, we have experienced a downward trajectory of violent crime over the past few decades.

quote:

Here is what we have accomplished since I took office: · Homicides dropped 10% from 2017 to 2018, and dropped another 12% from 2018 to 2019. · Violent crime is down 11% from 2017 to 2019. · Robbery is down 16% from 2017-2018 and down another 11% from 2018-2019. · Burglary, a property crime, dropped 17% from 2017-2018, and dropped another 16% from 2018-2019

So you are taking credit for something that has been trending positively across the entire country?

And how about those 2020 trends? Or does that not count just like when John Bel asked Rispone in a debate how he would make state government more diverse when he had been in office for 4 years and didn't fix it himself.

Maybe you can start a social program to proofread the grammar in your statements as well.

SWB appears to like stats. Here is another one, her own study proved her police department is 40% underpaid. Has she addressed that issue at all? I'm going to guess the billboards would go away if she took care of that.

My paw paw is in the Istrouma athletic hall of fame. They used to have pictures of him in the trophy case. He was class of 1937 though. I'd imagine they've taken it down by now.

Her own study listed the issues, pointed out where money could be saved and more cops put on the streets, The Chief. Broome’s puppet, disagreed and we’ve heard nothing since about the report.

The national trend is irrelevant. The East Baton Rouge trend is all that matters for purposes of this discussion. And that trend unequivocally shows total homicides in BR skyrocketed following Katrina. Unfortunately, they remained relatively flat at the higher rate for several years until 2013, when they started to significantly decrease for the next four years. SWB became mayor in 2017. BR IMMEDIATELY set a record for homicides that year and has returned to post-Katrina levels for the ENTIRE time she has been in office (2020 is on pace to be a big year once again)
