I live in Springlake which is a mile south of Bayou Fountain gauge. Rain has slacked to a drizzle for now. Neighborhood storm drains backed up for a while but have since drained. I did not get flooded in 2016. Had Alligator Bayou Road not breached who knows what would have happened.
Bayou Fountain gauge will likely hit 8/2016 record crest at midnight update.
Alligator Bayou gauge at Kleinpeter (right next to UClub) fairing a little bettter but approaching flood stage.

The worst of the rain is gone. It's going to be moderate rain for the next few hours.

Looks like something Sub Zero would throw.

Dry southwest advecting drier air (better lapse rates ends up being a feature) than normal maybe growing this ridiculous Texas hail?
I think a simpler answer is they are God's kidney stones.

I’d chop it up and put into little baggies and sell it for tree fitty on the corner

In Lexington Estates and I’ve never seen this. The house across the street and down a few may have water. If not, it is close. Creeping up on us both from the front and back.
I'm in the back. Currently have 8" until it's in the house. We good now though.

Pretty good winds on the back side of this.

I’m near the area. She could literally walk out of there if she wanted. Some people just want the drama.

Not replying to you, just jumping in on the last post
Maybe old news?
DOTD:
“I-10 East is closed past Siegen Lane due to water on the roadway. Traffic congestion has reached one mile. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.”

I imagine dying.
The epitaph would read
Dead as a door nail here I lay,
Killed by some hail in the middle of may,
If I had but stepped but a foot to the side,
You wouldn’t be reading about how I died,

I prefer NOAA page but good to know.
Weather guys totally whiffed on their forecast of 2-4” this week. I know I got 7-8” at my house from about 6 pm today to midnight.
