I was thinking of those neighborhoods on either side of starring that are well below the street. Everything from highland washes down there too.

However bad it gets there, I’m sure it’ll be SO MUCH WORSE than here if you ask NOLA people.

Houma up to the Gramercy exit isnt going to have a good time. Very heavy rains in the highest returns. Plus that little turn in the band is always trouble.

It's pouring out along the diversion canal too.

I am in Meadow Bend - water is high in the neighborhood, but not quite to 2016 levels. Maybe an inch shy.

ETA: Bayou Fountain is over 2016 levels so it may get dicey if we don't go down soon.

Dry southwest advecting drier air (better lapse rates ends up being a feature) than normal maybe growing this ridiculous Texas hail?

Excuse you! I know I don't post much, but we don't more than one ruhtard around here.

More relevant to this thread... I bought a rain gauge after last week's downpours. Not sure if it's accurate, but I'm in the Shenandoah area and have gotten nearly 11" since noon today.

The addition of spikes is a pretty metal move from hail.

And everyone thinks you went down as a total weenie because most people only see tiny hailstones
