Finally slacked off and water is receding a bit. Looks like we might have a little more coming, but hopefully this slack gives the drainage some breathing room.

In Lexington Estates and I’ve never seen this. The house across the street and down a few may have water. If not, it is close. Creeping up on us both from the front and back. Thankfully it is slowing down and hopefully it will begin draining.

Wind is howling in that Airline/Old Hammond shot. Looks like a strong tropical storm.

I have iberville SO dispatch on my radio but I have not heard anything. Although they may have gone encrypted since the last time we had our radios updated.

Ugh. My stomach is sinking. It just started raining and blowing harder than it has all night. Boat was right.

We have 4 cars stalled out on Kenilworth at highland. I’ve got a neighbors garbage can in the yard and all their nasty garbage all over my front yard.

The mesolow is starting to weaken. It was really prominent an hour-hour and a half ago

Thanks, we’re just off of hwy 30 and lucked out in ‘16 but with all new neighborhoods they are throwing up, I’m a lot more worried about the drainage.

Lowe’s in Lafayette on ambassador and Abbeville have dehumidifiers. Order NOW and pay online if you think you have someone who can get it to you ... there were a good many at both locations. Other locations may as well we just didn’t check all.

Will be held for seven days as far as I understand — our son had a little water in his home in Lafayette so we ordered and will get tomorrow.

Good luck to each of you — I’m so sorry this is happening.
