They're still assholes for refusing. No law against being an a-hole though

Why? I don't see anything wrong with it. They are against gay marriage due to religious beliefs.

I wouldn't bake a planned parenthood cake.

Having now read the decision, I think its more of a win than people are making it out to be. It definitely paints States into a corner.
My point is that the headlines have almost nothing to do with the actual decision. And people are simply reacting to the headline.

Ginsburg and Sotomayor, the two usual suspects.

Really?!? the whole thing was a set-up by the gays anyway. You mean a gay couple decided to plan a wedding and then went:

"Hey Todd, you know who's the perfect cake maker for us? That super-fundy bible-beater cake guy over there that wont even make a Halloween cake!"

"You're right Sebastian! I cant imagine that going wrong in any way!"

frickin please

it's shocking that it took the supreme court to actually let common sense prevail

These cases are filed exclusively to challenge a law in the books. Like forcing the hand of Congress.

Narrow in terms of how it can be applied to other cases. I am not an attorney, but I thought usually that was only found out after it was brought up in court as a defense.

Making the federal government even more powerful than States is not a win.

Personally I believe you should be able to serve whoever the frick you want. It's your own business. I don't know the details but does it say he refused to serve them because they were together and assumed they were gay or because the cake had some gay expression on it?

Private businesses should be able to not do business with who they want....says a lot of the same people who advocate for privatization of gov’t services? Private firefighting units or ambulances, can they refuse to service people who’s beliefs they don’t agree with? What about doctors? Grocery store owners? Restaurants?

If only there was a time in our recent history where certain minority groups were refused access to private businesses based on the beliefs of the private business owners, and we could see if that system worked.

Most bakeries are closed on Sunday anyway.

He better not use vanilla or he is a hypocrite, lol.
