I’m so excited to know that everyone will forget all about the heat come January and cry cause it’s all of 34 degrees

a historic, gigantic volcanic eruption last year that I — probably along with you — had never heard of.
It was discussed at length on the OT

The "mass media" also didn't ignore it.
This is what happens when you "bring stuff over from the poli-board".

This is a cool thought but I swear to God if it wasn't for all the online and social media bitching and whiny I wouldn't even think much of this summer. Sure it's been pretty hot at times, as are most summers in the south

I'm personally blaming the Chinese balloons back in Jan and Feb...

Supposedly, the Hunga Tonga-Hunga volcano that erupted in 2022 is the cause of this heat
It is probably a contributer to the heat we are experiencing. I think it is supposed to last a few years (less than 5)
That doesn't discount other things contributing to the heat as well. Countless things affect the weather.

Imagine living your whole life as a whale in the ocean living peacefully, just eating fish, moaning, doing whale shite. Then one day you get blasted to smithereens by a motherfricking underwater volcano. What a bummer that would be.
Same thing happens the in the human community with car wrecks, senseless murders, etc.

Those are man made. People dont really just spontaneously die from nature.

So this is a one year event? Fingers crossed. This summer has been brutal. If it was global warming, the obamas wouldn’t be on Martha’s Vineyard. FJB
Well it was this hot 100 years ago.
As far as LA is concerned, we’ve barely gotten any rain. It usually rains more here in July than anywhere else on the mainland.

Geez, if one little volcano did all this, imagine what 800 million cars and trucks and buses and lawnmowers and weedeaters can do.

If proven this is amazing. It can tell a story of just how powerful these volcanic events are.
