Explains a lot. Find something better.

Shiiiiiit, if she is hot I'd approach her on your behalf...but of course as others have noted, we need some pics.

OT 8 or less...quit and work elsewhere

I would be wary. Good companies usually have good supervisors who have a lot of experience and know how to deal with people.

coming from experience, you are missing the point, neither she or her boss (who she is probably fricking) want to deal with "problems", deal with it, fix it yourself, or turn in the 2 week notice and then watch HR jump through the CYA hoops, play the game or freelance, the choice is our's...not their's...

Find another job or report her to HR. If you file enough complaints they'll investigate.

ETA: Sorry you work for a count. If she like the 25 year old girls that I know, your life must suck. They can barely manage their jobs much less supervise other people. Hell, they can't even decide on what to eat.

How do you deal with a boss who makes everyone feel like crap.

I've dealt with this twice, got a job elsewhere, and then told his boss what an insufferable prick he was to literally all of his subordinates, that we all hated him, and that's why I resigned and to try to help them out. That's how I've handled it at least.

And yeah, your boss being 25 does not speak well for you.

Because when I think "who to entrust secure inventory management to" I think 25 year old females.

If your supervisor is 25, maybe you should evaluate how good you are at your job...assuming you're over 25

Why come you said this to me? My boss is a crusty old white dude who quotes Leviticus whenever he sees an interracial couple.

Depends on the business. Friend of mine is 25 and manages a guy in his 60s selling liquor. After hitting numbers and getting incentives, a decent year can be upwards of $120k for very minimal work, great benefits, mileage reimbursement, tons of vacation, etc. Some of those guys just don't want to move up and are content with where they are.

People worth a shite and content with their position work for people 35 and over, not 25 and under.

Like I said, depends on the company. This guy just sold the most of a particular brand in one month than anyone in the country has ever sold. He's very good, and so is my friend who is the manager. Been will the company 30+ years. He's just content where he is.

Most people who are like this are terribly insecure. They use this to make themselves feel better about their otherwise shitty life. It makes them feel important, even when they aren't.

Serious question(s) before you can make a decision.

- is this a company where you feel you have a great career path/opportunity, if not for her? If the answer is yes, go to next question. If no, start your job search yesterday.
- do you trust her supervisor or someone higher up? If yes, talk to them off the record to start. If no, start a job search or file a complaint with HR. Get coworkers to do the same, so it is more legitimate.

Mundane jobs are a dime a dozen and life is too short to work somewhere shitty. Find something you like and if you really like this one and are a valuable employee, take action.
