Sure as hell hope they get this inspected and cleared up.
There are three turnarounds happening right now within a five miles of that bridge on the east side.

I doubt it...those ships are double walled and it would take a hell of a much harder collision to bust a hole big enough to start leaking product.

Look at the video again the first strike moves the bridge and the support moved and the second strike from the rear jolts the support beam a second time.

This bridge is going to be down for quite awhile after looking at that.

Looks like my commute to AmSty just increased by an hour. Normally 40-45 min from the office, now 1:45 each way.

DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WAFB) - The Sunshine Bridge is now open after a ship hit it Sunday afternoon, forcing its closure, according to authorities.

The bridge reopened around 3:45 p.m.
