Rent out one of the breweries, it is rather reasonable.

Went to one last night at Rosy’s Jazz Hall on Tchoup. Really nice setup.

This is where our reception was. Nice April night so not too hot and could enjoy the patio. Really good, but not so well known place.

looking at 100 dollars a person

Likely not going to happen.

That’s not an OT response of how everyone is poor, NOLA is just an extremely expensive place to get married. I know from experience.

I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it sure isn’t easy.

Edit: do you mean $100/person all in, or $100/person for the venue alone?

Two suggestions:

1. Outdoors
2. Mid-summer

Webster's dictionary defines wedding as the fusing of two metals with a hot torch.

Tea Room at Audobon Zoo. It is a great wedding venue. Not joking.

Been to two weddings (i.e., receptions) here and I agree. One wedding was in nearby church and bused people over to the tea room (which costs money). The other was outside in the park with the reception inside.

Both ways were good -- although the outdoor wedding was better from a guest's perspective (has to be at the right time of year, though).

Usual dumbass response.
Nola has been the #1 wedding destination city in the country for like 10 years now.

And to the OP, Southern Oaks is indeed a great place for the value. Just depends if you don’t mind the logistics issues of being that far out.
There are tons of options in the city

We had ours there. Very nice, but probably too big for 100 people.

I'd say Rosys Jazz Hall would be better for that size.
