According to the statement on their FB page, they are closing due to lack of financial profitability.

I'm sure they are saying that.

Why wouldn't they just consolidate to 1 store and re-invent themselves a bit? Closing all 3 at once sounds like something else going on or they made some realllllly bad financial decisions that they can't come back from, not just "lack of financial profitability".

Sounds like the owner had a little inside joke going with that name. If you bought something there you were probably a sucker.

Sounds like someone mad because they didn't get invited to the pool party.

Translation: sales are down, probably for all the reasons mentioned in this thread.

Yep, idk why they feel they had to give an excuse. Just say you'll be closing

Maybe not doing so would in some way imply guilt.

Or they are doing it to water down and lessen the assets the owner is about to lose.

Awesome. My wife won't make me buy overpriced macarons for her every time I work out of NOLA any more. Those things were so overpriced.

I can see this if it was one sided, but a chick banging a coworker or boss at work is nothing new.

Were they forced to go and be topless?

yeah, don't see what any of that has to do with the place shutting down, just sounds like they spread themselves a little too thin and there weren't enough saps, er, uh, tourists to buy their over-priced, overrated product

Wait, he's in trouble because he hooked up with employees and they voluntarily took their tops off at a pool party?

Yeah and it sounds like some old fat hags who didn't get invited to the topless parties are the ones who are behind these allegations.

Plus it is his business, so why can't he frick on the premises?

It's their way of saying it's not their fault. "We did all we could do, it wasn't enough" is the PR way of saying "it's the customer's fault for not buying enough"

Gracious Bakery landed the Whole Foods contract due to their political stances thus killing Sucre’s cash cow contract.
