I get the choose my company car and they gave me the option of a Subaru Outback Premier or a base model Toyota Highlander, both are 2020. At first glance I was thinking the Highlander, but the Outback has more features and very good reviews.

Anyone with any knowledge of these cars? Which one would you pick?

If you’re company is paying for it and the maintenance, the Outback no question. They are pretty fun cars to drive.

If you have to pay the maintenance and upkeep, the Highlander no question.

Premier or a base model

Go with Premier.

And lesbian jokes aside, Subaru’s are really solid vehicles

Subaru. Usually fun to drive and have symmetrical AWD.

The Subaru Outback model is called the Premium btw. $28k price for it and it’s AWD

The Highlander base engine is now a V6, it will cost the employer more to buy-

Lesbian jokes aside, I’d probably opt for the Subaru.

My dad just got a highlander. Feels like a mini van. My gf has an old outback from when she was a lesbian and I love it. I take it hunting sometimes.

I was leaning towards the Outback after reviewing them both. I just have to make sure my wife doesn't start drive it too much and starts getting hit on by all the softball players.

Congrats on the rehabilitation.

Unless you need the 3rd row (3 kids), then I’d go with the Outback. It’s a much more capable vehicle.
