One redneck hit an 18 that I was playing with. I sat out after that and waited for him to lose all of his money. Didn't take long.

My wife did that once when she was hammered. I couldn't believe it.

Saw a guy double down with 14.

Most of the ones I would list would be people calling dumb bets at Texas Hold em and then getting there.

Bastards.

72 vs. KKKK

Guy with 72 repeatedly tries to bluff someone with quad kings. Cost him over $100k.

Was playing bouree with a first timer the other night

We explained the rules and played a couple practice hands and he decided he was ready to play

The first hand the trump is clubs. he stays in and says he only needs one card

He ends up not winning a single trick

The only trump he had was the 6 of clubs

We asked him after why the hell he stayed in

He said "I had four 6s"

Would you have demanded some of his winnings if he had gotten a 3? You know, since the table is yours.

Well, he got a 2. The dealer was showing an Ace, and when he said "hit me", the dealer said don't do that. The redneck then says shouldn't he assume that he has a 10 under there, and the dealer then tells him that's an impossibility since he already checked. The redneck didn't believe him and hit it anyway.

He clearly had no idea what he was doing and lost everything within 10 minutes regardless since everyone else at the table sat out after that. Wouldn't take anything under a 20 and looked and sounded exactly like Larry the Cable Guy, complete with cut off sleeves that went down to his stomach.

That is a lot worse than I expected.

And that is how casinos make their money.

Playing blackjack third base hit an Ace-9, got a 7 & stayed on 17. Dealer had 6 showing with a 9 underneath. First card was a 6 for 21.

I only lost $25, but two guys at the table doubled down & had $150+ on the table.

When people are playing, its their money, they can do whatever they want. I understand when people get pissed.. And there are some things you just don't do, but when people hit on something they probably shouldn't have hit on and they get a card that would have helped the person next to them, I never really bought into it changing up the cards. I just see it as "part of gambling".

That works fine depending on the dealers hand. If the dealer is showing a possible bust card, like a 6, then you can make out ugely.

Yeah, in general people should ignore what others are doing and play your own game. The worst is when people bitch about others hitting on 16s vs 17s. Just play the game. It's a game of luck. You have no idea what card is going to come up when you hit.
