People dying of covid weren’t just healthy then dead though. Acting like HCQ could’ve saved so many lives is disingenuous because those people were going to die regardless.
I’ve also said repeatedly that this movement should be citizens vs police, not white cop vs black lives so the “trap” is directed at the wrong person.

I’m not passing anything off as fact. I’m going off the opinion of this board. That’s my entire point, people are falling over themselves to shift their stance based on how it fits the specific argument. OP is a prime candidate of being selective with the severity of covid. Act like it’s a nothingburger, just the flu one minute, but now countless lives were risked because we didn’t get HCQ out to everyone. Even though the board has been saying the truth that most people who died were elderly and/or had serious preexisting conditions.

It is relatively a nothing burger for people in good health. But its also deadly for elderly and at risk people. And while no evidence that HCQ was going to cure everyone in the at risk category it's reasonable to think some lives could have been saved.

Island Buckeye posted a story how a father and son died on his Island from COVID. They refused a treatment from the doctors of HCQ, because the media told them it would kill them.
To summarize
-The doctors were open to trying HCQ
-They did not want it, per media scare
-They are now dead
Would HCQ have saved them, we will never know. The doctors were willing to try it.
Cause of death should be US Media though.

Could have saved as few as a hundred, could have saved tens of thousands, but it discredited Trump and allowed big daddy government to keep the fearmongering alive, so it was ran with. Just imagine what the US would look like if people on both sides of the aisle saw their own hypocrisies and actually amended their beliefs to alleviate them.
