Study shows that stupid people lie more often and are bigger liars

What’s also interesting is how the smart people lied differently. The low-intelligence liars overwhelmingly went big — most of them claimed they rolled a six, which gave them the highest payoff. But the high-intelligence liars were more modest. They were more likely to lie and say they rolled a four or a five.
There are two mysteries here. First, why were the less intelligent people more likely to lie? Second, why were the smarter liars so sheepish about going for the maximum payoff?

~50% of dumb people lied big

You can't make these comments up. I love coming to the OT to read stupidity.

Shocking
look at the "6" for intelligent people
As statistics would seem to show, more intelligent people are seen lying about rolling a "6" and instead say that they rolled a 4-5 as not to appear to be lying.
What did you roll?
A "6"
yeah, sure you did.
Intelligent people seem to care more how strangers perceive them, so they will lie as to not give the perception of being a liar.

You chose not to explain the study at all in your OP?

It's not about how much you lie. It's about how good you are at lying. The smart people were testing the waters to see if the small lie worked. If it did then they would probably inflate the lie as time went on.

There always making up dumbass studies like this. Doesn't mean shite. I was taught not too lie and I never have. Kids with good parents are whom don't lie.

The study doesn't really show anything because they don't actually know if people were lying or not, since they don't know what they rolled.

based on statistics, I can infer that you lie a lot
Check the graph again and look at the 16.6% mark of the 1 in 6 probability of each number occurring. Then look at the actual reported output. With enough test(rolls) recorded, deviations from the known statistical probability will show, with a greater than 99% probability, that lies occurred.
Now surveys of the people and their reported number shows a trend in who reported what. Can you tell if 1 dumb or smart person is a liar from this? No. But it shows you the overall trend in people with higher/lower intelligence.

Reading your threads, and based on this study, I can only assume you are a habitual liar.

everybody lies. What makes a person super stupid is to what extent they "expect" others to believe all their lies.

No.
I don't care enough to lie.
