Plastic like mercury ends up collecting in the food chain.
It's showing that we're fricking up even the bottom which gets consumed directly or indirectly through other fish that are collecting it in them through eating contaminated prey.

It’s no ones fault that there are things like lobsters that are dumb enough to eat cigarette butts. My neighbors dog shits in my yard, I don’t eat it.

Ash-holes and butt-heads are my names for smokers who think the world is their ashtray, that they're free to flick their cigarette butts wherever they want.
I lean libertarian. For the most part, if you want to smoke, have at it. Yes, even before Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, Drs. Alton Ochsner and Michael DeBakey warned us that their patients showed them that almost all lung cancers were in heavy smokers. But as long as you don't have young kids, or want to stick the public with the bill for your cancer treatment, have at it. As a witty (but disgraced) guy I knew used to put it, "The great thing about America is that you have the right to be an a$$h---."
But don't subject everyone else to your trash.

I’m collecting boxes of plastic straws so I don’t run out. I use one every day. I particularly love Ken the ones with yellow and/or purple, preferably flexible straws.
