The cerebral couch potatoes with an inferiority complex grasping at straws... intelligent or stupid, my bet is we lift for pussy. Period.

Did a weak little nerd write that article?

Yeah but there's just not enough hours in the day to be a bodybuilder and a successful career person the possible exception would obviously be an athlete or a business owner who can delegate

Being in the middle of corporate life, I find that those who are very successful are generally the ones who best prioritize their time. They work out to stay fit and keep their mind right, but not excessively, and they balance it with all the other priorities in their life.
I believe the OP is referring to the guy who spends hours each day in the gym, working out and then taking countless selfies in the mirror to post on FB to show everyone how dedicated they are. I agree that those baws are weak minded.

This book is a primer how to do it right.
Intersection of the mind, body, sleep, stress management....
In a word, BALANCE

Muscle guys are just weak, depressed little bitches who have no vision so they gravitate to what they think is strong.
Or maybe they just wanted to bang hotter girls.

So what you're saying is keep the dad bod? Damn, I was gonna start lifting to tighten up. With this new, groundbreaking information, I might hold off

I predict this thread to be 25 pages by end of the day.

Ok then start your thread about will power. This is about weak minded people
You can't have good will power with a weak mind.

Some people like to exercise because we have the genetics for torque, and horsepower.
If we don't, we get anxious and feel bad.
It's not because of body dismorphia or some kind of inferiority complex. It just feels good. It's about endorphins and #Gainz.

Is this groundbreaking? External presentation can make up for internal shortcomings, hence why a ripped up guy can pick up strange without saying much of anything.

Working out to be in shape is one thing. Working out to physically look "big" is making up for a shortcoming.
And I'm not saying it's everyone. The little that I actually lift weights, I do have personal goals that I want to achieve. So I know you are always going to push yourself. But there are plenty of guys I hear talking about how tight their shirts fit, etc. while standing in front of the mirror that are obviously making up for other shortcomings.
And don't talk about "being healthy". I seriously doubt most of those meatheads could go run 5 miles. They aren't all "in shape". They're just peacocking and that's all they care about anyway.
