Study purports weak minded guys strive to be more muscular

Perceived (societal) pressure predicted internalization directly, and indirectly through the drive for muscularity. The direct relationship between pressure and internalization was weaker under higher levels of autonomy.

Guys who have "no autonomy" (meaning that they feel they are unable to self govern or have the freedom to guide their own path), are more apt to strive to be muscular and even more so if they are so weak minded, that they believe society pressures them to be that way.
Think about that when you're flexing in the mirror!

Strong back and a weak mind are a terrible thing to waste.

There's a fine line between wanting to bulk up Ronnie Coleman style, and hitting the gym because you don't want to be a fat slob.

I think it's detectable in gym attire

You mean my flatbill hat, size small shirt and 14 wrist bands makes me stupid.....well shite.

Collectively, the overwhelming data argues opposite of this. The literature is littered with studies that support improved neurocognitive function and exercise/strength training. Your isolated reference will be duly noted.
Put your axe down and find a different grinder...
In fairness, any stimuli /entrainment program that becomes obsessive will be detrimental to the person. Examples: ultraendurance training, competitive cross fitting, competitive bodybuilding (balance is the key)
The stronger the body, the stronger the mind (not surprisingly they are directly connected....)
By the way, do you even lift bro?

It's not necessarily stupidity, it's weak minded as far as confidence in oneself.
Think about girls in general who feel that they'll never get a guy unless they are perfect and that their success is based on if a guy will love them. They don't believe that they are good enough to have their own identity so they strive for the facade that they believe society wants them to be(enter anorexia et al)
Muscle guys are just weak, depressed little bitches who have no vision so they gravitate to what they think is strong.

So the reason I don't work out is because I have high self-esteem?
