Serious thought...the US should allow death row inmates to volunteer to be injected with the virus so that studies can be performed to test vaccines. Find out what causes symptoms to be more severe than others in some cases, too.

I get that sounds like some mad science experiment, but it would be for the good of the human race. And you could offer them some financial incentive for volunteering.

Unethical as hell, but I’m cool with it. They are there for a reason.

Er... I don't think developing a vaccine is as much as an issue as it will take quite some time to mass produce it.

I’m good with it.

Human testing on death row immates would make people greatly consider the thought of serious and terrible crimes

At least you're somewhat self aware. That's about all I've got.

The death penalty should be abolished. No government should have the ability to kill one of its own citizens

It's been illegal for prisoners to volunteer for medical testing for a very long time. Their status makes them unable to give voluntary consent.

Not cool

They should just execute them normally instead of having them rot on death row for 20 years

Make the death row inmates fight each other to the death gladiator like. We can air the fights on ESPN.

Don’t even act for a second like you wouldn’t watch some gang banger and pedophile go at it with sharpened toothbrushes.

No kidding. It's like some people forget that there are more than the first two amendments to the Constitution...

But you also have to think about all the ones who have turned out to be innocent because of new testing available. But I absolutely believe there needs to be a way to speed up the process after all new testing has been completed.

ETA The Condemned was a pretty good movie. I would absolutely watch it. No other sports going on.
