Sad story. It looks like another LSU student was critically injured by a vehicle in Tigerland.

Maybe they were running across the street?

Yeah, it doesn’t sound like the driver was at fault. There isn’t a lot of information around this story.

It’s truly amazing that this is a rare occurrence driving around there in college was honestly kinda scary as drunk kids would pop out from around cars all over

Drunk kids with phones have zero situational awareness.

Tigerland is such garbage. Compared to other SEC towns bar scene it’s laughable. Can’t believe it’s just gone on as long as it has without a new strip of bars coming in and taking over

People in general with phones have zero awareness. Drunk or high 100 times worse.

Many of these kids like playing chicken with the vehicles too and playing other stupid games in the road.

Hard to see people running in the road after dark. Stick to the sidewalks

But they have a right to run in the street! That’s what our OT runners say. Well look him now.

I met my wife around 1am in Freds. We have been married 35 years.

So, yeah, my wife would agree. (She also claims it was Sports Illustrated, but what does she know)

I cant think of a worse place for a younger person to bartend. People your age at your station in life having a blast while you work, the underage liability issue, a customer base new to going out to bars/learning to handle alcohol, and a customer base who either doesn't know how to tip or doesn't have the discretionary income to over tip.

Tell him/her to go get a job at whatever passes for the Cadillac these days. Flirt and pretend to listen to members of the opposite sex 20 yrs older than them and make a shite ton of money.
