I know plenty of healthy people that are a 36 waist and way under 200 pounds.

Stretch jeans are incredible. Discovered them last year and every pair I’ve bought since are stretch.

I wear the stretch jeans from AE and they are very comfortable! If you don't own a pair you should try them.

stretch jeans from Wrangler are pretty damn nice for manual labor. Especially outdoors.

Denizen Relaxed fit by Levi's(For Target) are very comfortable and about $20. They have a stretch to them.
