Twenty and thirty something leftists. Religious people donate their money and hours upon hours of their time to charity. The preacher in this case happens to be one that is a pos.

So if you had a daughter and others were talking about her and how she should be dead, you would tell your daughter to get over it, right?

You wouldn't care to take any extra precautions to ensure she's safe from those unhinged people, it's just words and surely she's safe around them....right?

I may be wrong but it sounds like the preacher didn't go to the hearing for the restraining order so the judge just granted it.

People grew up and realized a childhood saying was bullshite. You don't think words from your children or spouse or parents can cut a person deeply?

Telling a person that they will be excluded from God grace and mercy because of the way they are living in sin is not hating them. It's one of the greatest acts of love you can do for someone. They do not have to accept your telling this to them but I doesn't make it untrue.

Ok, now do telling someone they're worthy of death...you are going to pretend that's not hating on them?

The most selfish uncaring thing you can do as a Christian is to watch someone live in they sin and know they are bound to hell and not warning them for fear of them being offended
Or you can mind your business and deal with the sins you're committing and don't involve yourself with shite that has nothing to do with you.

People living a lie in sin are always offended to hear the truth of what they are doing
As opposed to that pastor or people who aren't living in sin?

That street preacher can shout that from the roof tops, and he is free to preach it all day long. He just can't single out a couple, target them on social media with photos and reign down hell fire & brimstone on them from the words of Paul without getting a restraining order slapped on his arse. It's really that simple.
It really is simple.

The idea of trying to pass this off in being a 2023 thing and people against Christianity is laughable.

At any point in time, you single out someone and talk about them being better off dead, they'll have the ability to get a restraining order against your lunacy. That has nothing to do with the climate we're living in right now, this could have been a story and happened in 2000, or 1985, the end result would be the same, the 2 people rightfully getting a restraining order against the crazy person.

The concept of “the reasonable person” standard is, ahem, less than clear these days.

What a woke leftist finds unreasonable is not what > 50% of the population would find unreasonable.

Maybe this guy crossed the line, but this article would have been real journalism if they included the actual statements that were thought to be threatening/harassment, and not just a summary of the judge.

the dishonesty of this title is incredible

it should more accurately read

"Restraining order issued to preacher by gay couple for posting a photo of the gay couple and implying that they should be sentenced to death"

you can argue that the restraining order is too vague or too harsh, but try to be more accurate with your headlines, you clickbait dishonest hacks

t's in the OP, it quotes one of the social media posts talking about the 2 people specifically being worthy of death.

It might be the right decision, but it’s far from simple. Part of the problem is that this type of issue is not applied equally to all opinions.

Need I remind you about the leftist protests in front of Supreme Court Justices houses, and other law makers and judges?

How about a large angry mob shouting at and demanding that restaurant patrons stand or kneel in fealty to Black Lives Matter?

I could go on and on.

Were restraining orders denied in this instance?

That's obviously shitty people you just referenced, but it's also obviously not an apples to apples comparison.

Also, if you feel it is an apt comparison, then your only issue should be with the angry mobs, not with the decision against the pastor

LBGTQ is a political cult. Nothing less.

I appreciate gay dudes that can rise above this stupidity. I laugh at pussies who pretend defend this stupidity.

If someone singled your wife and daughter out and spoke of them and how they should be sentenced to death, you wouldn't be any bit worried about their safety at all from that person compared to any other random person?

You wouldn't try to take any and all steps to ensure the safety of your wife and daughter in that situation? Why not, isn't that your responsibility as a husband and father?
