You’re lucky it wasn’t Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Took an anti-depressant years ago (don't remember which) that changed my handwriting. It freaked me out. It was like waking up with that foreign accent condition but with handwriting. It never went back.

Lexapro made it really hard for me to swallow at first. I nearly choked a few times when drinking/eating. It sucked.

Had chronic masturbation symptoms. It was so weird.

It was very difficult to ejaculate on Effexor.
Fortunately I didn’t develop female breasts from Risperdal

Years ago a doctor put me on atenolol, a beta blocker to make my blood pressure nice and low.
Six months later I had routine blood work and the results came back that I was diabetic.
Got suspicious, researched, found that atenolol is pretty much banned in Europe for triggering that side effect, got the doctor to take me off it, and was declared "not diabetic" a month later.

Then they gave me meds that turned my urin a vivid shade of orange. It was so orange that it looked like dye.
The medicine I took for tuberculosis did this to me.
And yes, somehow I managed to catch tuberculosis and no, I don't work with patients.
I'd say the worst "side effect" was not being able to drink alcohol for four months. Once I was able to, I ended up puking twice within a month. Hadn't puked from drinking in years.

Atenolol
man frick this drug...
Neurologist put me on this for migraine prophylaxis and I had trouble with erections but I was on a pretty long dry spell so I was hoping this had gone away since I had gotten used to the drug....
the final straw was this SEXY sorority girl came over, one who I had a huge crush on for several weeks and we matched on tinder and she came over... pierced nipples... DTF... got the condom on and went limp.. tried and tried and it was a disaster .... I was humiliated ... got off Atenolol a week later..

Got on some BP meds and I have had to piss a ridiculous amount when I was figuring out the dosage.
I probably pissed 15 times in a 8 hour day. Drinking water and coffee in a training class but still.
And this was eyeballs are floating need to pee

Broke out in horrible hives from amoxicillin. In college went to infirmary for a sore throat. Doc looked at throat and diagnosed me with a red throat(whatever that is). Sent me away with amoxicillin. A few days later I am at work and a coworker tells me I am breaking out in hives. By the time I get to the infirmary I am covered. Doc sees me and just says uh oh. Sends me immediately for a mono test. Positive for mono. Apparently there is some sort of reaction between mono and amoxicillin

Ended up passed out in my own throw up in my car. Ambulance took me to hospital. Thought I had an aneurism in stomach.

A few years ago I got diagnosed with h1n1 (didn't really feel *that* bad, but w/e) and they put me on Tamiflu.
I think the next day I started having visual hallucinations. A stream of sparks and lights traced around my vision like a snake or the old arcade game Centipede, pretty much making me blind in one eye (this happened while at the mall, lawl).
I thought it was having a stroke or something, but then the thought occurred to me to google the side effects of Tamiflu and viola, I wasn't the only person this had happened to. Some poor bastards had temporary psychosis and shite.
My peripheral vision was fricked up for a few days. Next time I'll stick with NyQuil.

Hallucinated from Sulfamethoxazole. Saw little soldiers fighting on my bed comforter. Next morning vomited while sitting at the doc office.

I took melatonin a while back and experienced vivid dreams where the New Orleans Saints were huddling around my bed trying to wake me up. Pretty weird stuff.
Melatonin is not a drug and not prescribed by a doctor.
Your body naturally produces melatonin. It is what tells your brain it is time to shut down and go night night. You can buy melatonin anywhere you can buy vitamins and minerals.

My daughter (no pics) had an infection once and whatever reason they prescribed her a sulfa based antibiotic. Within 30 minutes of taking the first dose the skin all over her body had turned blood red, was puffy, and hot to the touch.
We carried her straight to the emergency room and they had to pump her full of so much steroids to get rid of the allergic reaction that her immune system was shot for about two years. Anytime somone coughed or sneexed around her she got sick.
