Ok I never thought I’d be considering straight talk but the wife and I are in the process of getting “debt free” and our cell phone bill is horrendous. Does anyone have any dealings with them? I can bring my phone over and it’s like 60 bucks a month. Thanks in advance

My GF uses them and it's very much worth it.

We've used her hotspot all month at the property while doing the restoration. It's incredible for sixty bucks. I'm going to them after contract with Verizon is up in five months

The worst part is having to explain to everyone that you have WalMart Mobile

You’re bill depends on how many items you have financed.

Ditto. Apparently they only use verizon towers in my area. I can stand next to someone using an att phone, they have a signal and I don't. I also believe they throttle video.

I have straight talk with an iPhone. I never have issues with reception. I buy the 10 gig package and have yet to use all of it since I’m on WiFi most of the time. Do it. No contract and cheap phone bill.

Does this use Verizon services? I need a temporary option for an upcoming trip. I have att and where I am going only has Verizon.

I pay $100 flat for 4 lines of unlimited, on Cricket and we own all four phones.

Sure you're going to have people mock you, but I can do anything on my phone that you can do on your phone.(that you're paying 2x more for)

Cricket has better coverage where I live (Lafayette\Louisiana) and is cheaper. They use at&t towers.

I got 5 lines unlimited everything for $100 even no extra charges or tax to add to it.

I think it's currently 4 lines now for $100.. Not sure what the rates are for 2 phones, but I recommend them.

Cricket actually works best if you have multiple lines, you then get bigger discounts. Here is a list of the unlimited pricing currently.

It looks like the 2 phone unlimited plan is $80. Keep in mind that is your final price.. they already factor all charges in.. and then if you want 4 phones it's only $20.. so it might be beneficial if you know 2 other people who need a line and they could give you some money every month. I actually let a family friend in Texas on our plan for my 5th line.

It's not quite as great as it use to be (5 lines unlimited), but mine is still honoring my promotion since I switched several years back..

I've had straight talk, but service wasn't quite as well and nothing beats what Cricket gave me to switch over at the time from t-mobile. They basically gave me 4-5 months free. Was a nice promotion at the time. I brought all my unlocked phones over FWIW.

I will just throw it out there, the only difference from t-mobile to cricket is that t-mobile allowed free wifi hotspot creating.. whereas cricket does not.. that's an additional add.. but i no longer ever use that feature any ways.. and i'm not sure if straighttalk allows that feature or not. as far as service (bars, clear)

cricket\at&t > straight talk > t-mobile

i have had pretty much all the carriers at some point. att had the best service, but i couldn't stand their pricing! and then wanting to charge extra for overages.. so i am glad that cricket provides the same coverage for much much much less and never any overages.

sorry for the long post. definitely check the coverage maps for where you live though and ask around your area?

good luck.

Same towers as the big boys. Only difference is they throttle badwidth more quickly. If not an issue, same service.

I have been with Cricket for three months. I was looking for a cheaper cell phone plan. No complaints from me. Unlimited data for $55/Month.

I have it. Works fine. Can do everything I could on my 150/a month at&t plan minus setting up a hotspot. The kids weren't happy about that at first but they'll live.
