I commend his effort, but, it’s crazy to think he’s doing this, gets his adrenaline rush , then wants to fold when 70% of us treat this like normal life. He thinks he’s a bad arse, and in reality it’s like a Tuesday to most of us. (I know this one is different but the point remains)

He says, it needs to be at least 3 feet higher, or it won’t make it through the night

Same here. They’re all stuck and they can’t get out. Then the buddies left him. How did they get out?

He has been deleting these tweets asking for help apparently. Look at his twitter. It's @chicagomweather. People are calling him out for lying and some are saying the Coast Guard was sent to help him before he miraculously ended up being fine.

There are a lot of chasers who don’t have the experience or knowledge to be in a hurricane of this magnitude. They don’t truly understand things like surge, particularly in a place like Louisiana where the water system is complex and you can still have surge well away from the Gulf.

I get the inexperience with bad decisions and not knowing when to get the frick out and all that. But it doesn’t take experience with storms to know to load yourself up to the hilt with something like portable cell phone chargers and stuff like that. That’s just basic common knowledge and begging for trouble.

I hope he makes it out okay, but what did he expect going into the mouth of the beast of one of the worst storms in LA history.

*if he’s actually in trouble. If he’s not then he can go frick himself for stirring up fake drama to get likes and sympathy.

He has subsequently deleted the tweets, so his situation must not have been that dire. Maybe his buddies didn't actually abandon him either.

I have a feeling he wanted to keep playing the hero amateur documentarian/journalist, while his friends realized they were in over their heads when shite got real. They probably wanted to leave, so he threw a tantrum.

Sometimes you chase the storm, sometimes the storm chases you.

Something seems fishy about this.

He started tweeting dramatic things about being stuck and waving goodbye to life and then angrily defends his tweets when people call him out.

Now he’s deleting those tweets.

Dude was just looking for likes and shares.

I already talked to the coast guard a long time ago, so they wouldn’t be looking for me. They told me to stay put because they won’t go out pass the flood gate. Anyway.. I’m safe now, someone picked me up and gave me shelter. I’m thankful.

He is getting reamed in the comments on this tweet…

LINK

ETA: pretty sure he had 6500 followers at one point. Now he’s down to 3200.
