TROPICAL UPDATE: As of 5 pm EDT, Tropical Storm Cristobal continues to spin over the Bay of Campeche, producing heavy rain and #lightning as seen here on @NOAA's GOES16 GLM instrument. Life-threatening flooding is possible for parts of Mexico.

How are we already on "C"?
(Obviously I don't pay close attention)
Arthur & Bertha both formed last month
Arthur formed off the coast of Florida and skirted near the Carolinas before going out to sea
Bertha formed off the South Carolina coast shortly before making landfall in Cocky country
ETA: not even sure Bertha made it 24 hours as a Tropical Storm

SO it was headed south, then it was headed West, now it's heading North. Two days from now it'll be heading East. I'll start worrying if it this forecast didn't change daily.

Tides at Belle Pass in Port Fourchon are currently running 7/10ths of a foot above normal already, and Sunday, June 7th @ 10:30 is supposed to be the highest tide of the month. Cristobal's exact location at that point will be important.

I hate when 10ths of a foot is used as a measurement. For some reason it just messes with my head.
