If it’s a whole transmission tower, that can’t be good long term wise

With Ida's eye/eyewall becoming less defined and as the general threat shifts away from wind towards flash flooding, this will be my last WobblePlot for the storm.

I'm glad these plots have seemed to help some folks in the storm's path. Hoping for the best for all y'all.

And there goes the power in BR off of Kenilworth. Lasted way longer than I expected.

Inner NOLA will be without it for a while. Kenner and Met not as long I don’t think

Crapshoot imo.

Last couple times we had mass power outage several areas of Nola had it before Metry at least

At least 5 or 6 water breaks in East Jefferson but more expected, causing lower water pressure and boil advisory.

Rare that these storms just sit on top for several hours though and not just move through
Harvey in SETX did exactly this.

When’s the last time we saw a storm move so slowly thru a major metro area and weaken so slowly? Seems like the eyewall has been bearing down for hours

Harvey, but that was mostly a killer rainstorm for Houston.. but Rockport and the area took a substantial blow during the process

Would this be the same as the metal high-tension power pole towers?

If so, on April 27, 2011 about 5 were taken down near the nuclear plant near me. It took them 5 days just reroute power to us. It took them many more to get power to everyone. And that was without being in the marsh/swamp.
