I’m not them and I’m not qualified to answer.. but she isn’t there yet, but she is close. She has the doughnut now, but it isn’t perfect. If she deepens some more, she might get there.

Looks like it’s heading right for Grand Isle which is pretty far east of the nhc track for this close to landfall.

Agreed. It will be interesting in the aftermath to see how much he allows her incompetence to show. They are both about as helpful as a hemorrhoid.

She just might make to 5 before landfall.

Fascinating and terrifying at the same time.

The Dome may take more damage after the storm. So long renovation.

It looks to me that it's going to go in west of Houma.

SC does contraflow for even a remotely powerful storm headed to the coast. At the rate you guys in LA get hit every year, I don't understand why it wasn't.

Because this state has the most inept, corrupt, idiotic, pieces of shite humans in positions of power, and the system goes on and on.

Admiral Todd Terrell, President of the United Cajun Navy is on CNN.

He is making a desperate plea for assistance. He needs more cameras (i.e. go pros), tripods, and most importantly camera operators.

They can not do any rescues unless someone is there to film it for social media.

This trend we’ve seen in the last few years (Michael being perhaps the best example) of strong hurricanes continuing to strengthen right up to landfall is pretty fascinating.
