Any of you who start political bullshite tonight and tomorrow, I'm going to find you and dip your dick in Tobasco Sauce. Then rub it with sandpaper and do it fricking again.

I'll also taddle on you to Rummy, who I hope shows zero mercy.

I don't have a dick... but you have my attention anyway. And I think it's Tattle... Sir.

I have faith in Latoya but just to be safe in the worst case scenario, I’m going to use a Sharpie and write my name, SSN, address, name of next of kin, health insurance info, blood type, LADL#, names and descriptions of my pets, and my favorite jambalaya recipe on my penis.

But seriously, I’m hoping for the best and using this thread to keep up to date. Thanks for the posters who are adding useful info.

Are you close to Claiborne? I thought uptown really didn’t flood.

There isn’t going to be a whole lot of sleeping going on with winds like we are expecting. It will be loud

Yes, near Carrollton/Claiborne. Firsts floor is ground level. Took on water once from a random summer storm few years back
I am not in the same boat as say Broadmoore but not exactly high and dry either

Sigh.

Point taken on the spelling.

This is what I’m most scared of. That wind whipping and screaming. Make me cry in fear and I’m a 39 year old woman.

For me it's not the winds, but the hot temps once power goes out that makes it tough to sleep.

Seriously trying to contemplate the need to evacuate. I’m in Metairie off west esplanade and causeway. Not worried about flooding, house is two story brick . The thought of ten hours in a car with kids and dog sounds like a nightmare. I have acess to house with home generator after the storm. Is it just the fear of listening to winds for a few hours?

This is the same math I'm doing.

And I don't like it.
