The funny thing is there were 3 prison buses headed east not long after that

Looks like heavier than normal traffic headed east out of NOLA right now. Guess people are trying to go somewhere.

Is there a website where I can find out more and provide support?

I have found what I'm pretty sure is their site.
Here to Serve
I'm trying to get in touch with them now to offer my site for set up.

I hate them but I don’t think this is because they are dysfunctional.

I stayed for Katrina in Slidell and we got shredded . Also lived closer to the lake too so the storm surge was brutal. My parents moved a little
Northward just above I-12 , y’all think that will be far enough north from the storm surge or no?

I was in Venice earlier today evacuating. We got word at work the flood wall in Belle Chasse was closing at 3pm. I got through there earlier than that so not sure if they really closed it that early.

Was a lot of people hauling their boats out of there.

Thank you for the info, was traffic gridlocked?

I think New Orleans will see less damage than zeta. Power was restored pretty much within the week

So there are people in here with Turner Syndrome?

If you were trying to say people are retarded then that would mean they have an extra chromosome, retard.

Just heard that Cantrell said that there isn’t enough time to do contraflow. Any thoughts on that?

Mayor said there will be no mandatory evac for New Orleans. Not because they don’t want to, but it’s too late to do it with contraflow.

Not sure why you laughing, but 60-70 MPH winds will knock out power to the bulk of the city for a week. With the problems the rest of the state is going to have repair capacity will be stressed. And that’s if the storm stays west. If it comes in a bit more East well then it’s much worse for New Orleans.

Would you feel comfortable evacuating to Bay St. Louis?

Maybe we can get a tee time at The Bridges on Monday
