Manifesting this

However, deridder is more inland than BR and they got 90-100 from Laura
Winnfield is 50 miles due north of Alexandria and they got winds clocked at 100 and had complete power outages for a week.
All this is true, I lived in BR during Gustav and in West Louisiana during Laura... The strength of Laura combined with the speed at which it was traveling through its path led areas as far north as Shreveport seeing hurricane force winds. It takes a historically rare set of circumstances for a storm to maintain hurricane force winds that far inland but not an impossibility.
This is why I told that guy to hold off on saying all of that. If this thing gets any where close to the intensity of Laura, St. Francisville will see 100MPH winds

Except for the wishing the storm on each other and not themselves.
We had two monsters last year on top of a 100-year flood event a few months ago. Time for someone else to take it on the chin. Sorry not sorry

Really not great when your tropical cyclone is starting off 5mb deeper and 10+kts stronger than even the HWRF.

I’m in Prairieville where you can literally blow on the power lines and the lights flicker. I’m 100% going somewhere else.

I don’t hold it against anyone for wishing it on me, and nobody should imo. Bottom line is as human beings we don’t want to get our shite rocked and lives fricked up for months on end, and I’d love for nobody to get hit but if it’s BR or NO I want it to hit NO, as any sane person who lives in BR would regardless of what happened last year or 20 years ago

I don't think that cone is going to tighten much until tomorrow morning which will give people about 24 hours to GTFO. Likely has to cross Cuba before I think they know with any certainty.
