I agree with this as well. Texas is certainly better equipped to handle this storm than Louisiana at this moment.

No. My post may have been a little confusing. 12z is noon universal coordinated time, which forever used to be the time in Greenwich. Now Greenwich uses their own timezone but Z and UTC haven't changed. 12z is 7am CDT, 5 hours behind, or 6am CST, 6 hours behind.

Those models probably had new data from recon plugged in. It's an open wave, there's gonna be a lot of model waffling.
I'm watching the ridge strength and placement and for that little low feature off Texas on Tuesday to get some idea of steering. Then let bay or rds splain' the upper level implications.

flying out thursday night here. If it comes down to it I will either drive to Green Bay or drive to Houston/Dallas/Atlanta, etc to get on a plane
