No.

That being said, the first pass is still the most pressing concern.

Latest recon doesn't show many changes since last advisory. I don't reckon much regarding intensity will change with the next advisory that should be issued within the next 45 minutes.

Hmmmm not liking this at all. Probably getting ahead of the now, but is there anything that will sweep this out before making it in the Gulf at any point?

Yeah I saw the face when they originally released the image. It's definitely not photoshopped.

So I live in a flood prone area of Charleston, SC... the hysteria is real. Do I buy in and evacuate? Seems the newest predictive models I have seen, has it weakening significantly if it follows the eastern seaboard route.

How late is too late in deciding to leave? How bad is traffic? I figured a bunch of people down there would be waiting til the last minute.

They've already reversed oncoming I26 so it shouldn't be Hurrican Floyd bad. But I still don't want to spend 15 hours getting to Rock Hill to batten down, only to have to sit in traffic for another 16 to try and get back when nothing happens.

I-26 from Cola to Charleston is a pain in the arse during a regular day, I can't imagine it during an evacuation.

Sitting in traffic headed West on I26 out of Charleston. Traffic is pretty terrible, but they have not changed the direction of traffic on the other side yet. We passed about 200 school buses headed to evacuate people.

Where at? I'm from NOLA and have sat through some big hurricanes but in Destrehan. Still trying to figure out on James Island what to do but leaning towards staying. If we leave, it will be late.

The weather channel just showed 2 or 3 models that still have this thing making landfall in SC (1 in Charleston, and the others in Myrtle Beach area).
