If a 20' surge really happens, you'll have water I'd think. We should get a beer at Green Room when this is all said and done

N Florida beach folks:

If the surge is that high get across the ditch

By the time you see water it's too late.

Stay safe.

What really concerns me is the fact storms can get really unpredictable when they're looping in slow motion. Once it starts looping, it's hard to say when it's going to stop and what it's trajectory will be, especially 4-6 days out as we are now.

Too many moving parts to make any kind of a guess at this point but an eventual track into the Gulf wouldn't surprise me. This is a grim possibility for the Bahamas and Florida as some areas could get hit twice before it's all over. Also, there is nothing, atmospheric physics speaking, that says the loop to the Gulf can't happen.

're on this oasis of the seas

We were on the Oasis earlier this year. I recommend just hanging out in Central Park. Maybe I am just old, but I enjoyed the peace of the area. Also, skip Cat's unless you really like Broadway plays. The zip line was OK.
Now go to Airport Beach and watch some planes.

The "ditch" is 100 yards from my backyard. I take my kayak out there for redfish all the time. I am more worried about the surge impacting the intracoastal than I am about the Atlantic. Opposite is true for Penn.

GFS really pushing the idea that this thing could scrape along the Florida coast and then take a right hand turn, do a loop, and take another aim at south Florida.
