There are documented cases of hunters with guns being killed by one animal in the wild, and you like their odds against a horde of them?

Hunter - Only one who can plan

Hawks - If they eat/scare off the rats, the hunter can take out everyone else.

You gotta have the rats on your side. Otherwise you’re going to be overwhelmed immediately solely by the rats. Those things can bite!

Can the hawks defend me by grouping together and flying me around the sky?

If so, the only threat is the hunter so give me him too.

Under no situation would you survive an hour. 1 of each of those animals is enough to kill a human quickly except for the rats and hawk.

There are documented cases of all of these predators being killed as well.

Yeah I don't think there are two of those that will keep you alive from the rest for an hour, but you do have to factor in the fact the animals will be fighting each other as well to get to you so you have to take advantage of that and Gorillas are the smartest and strong AF so they can take advantage of the animals fighting each other.

Then the hawks just give you an air attack.

I’m probably going 5 gorillas

a 450 pound gorilla without claws would be dead within seconds during an encounter with a 1300 pound brown bear.

This board really puts gorillas on a pedestal. They would get absolutely wrecked by every other group of predators on this list.

Do I have any sort of control over these animals? If I do, I would just get the gorillas and buffalo. Easy win.

Not by one guy in an hour there isn't.

Let's take the guy with a gun out for a second. You can pick two to be on your team and you have the gun. If you survive you get 3 wishes. The arena size is proportional to ancient gladiatorial combat for the amount of animals present. You taking that?

Yea, if you wanted to teach one sign language in an hour the gorilla is your best bet.

You're choosing the herbivore in a fight to the death though. Their "strength" compared to a bear is miniscule

Gorillas have opposable thumbs, so theoretically could be armed with at least melee weapons. Polearms could be deadly

I always underrate lions in the "animal v. animal" discussions, but they're weaker here b/c of how they kill things.

They can kill most any animal on this list one on one, but it takes a long time and they're exposed entirely during the kill.

Yes theoretically. Bears and Lions have melee weapons attached to the end of their paws though

The gun gives you the most powerful impact with the greatest difference.

You're probably dying within the hour with all of these, but you can't underestimate the impact a gun has. You can take out all of the apex predators with relative ease, compared to any other option, and you can do this from 100+ yards.

10000 rats and the hunter. Hunter can fire bullets killing. 10000 rats would overwhelm all the animals and they won't pay attention to attacking me if there are rats crawling all over them.

Think the only problem I would have is the hawks.
