So now we have the company's side of it up against Carlson's unnamed source, on the heels of Carlson's attorney telling a court he has no obligation to be truthful to his viewers.

And the crushing irony is that her firing was sandwiched in a statement of tolerance, inclusivity, and diversity

How long before one of these people whose lives are ruined by the Doxxers absolutely SNAPS and visits justice upon the Karens that ruined their lives?

I hope not but won't be surprised when it happens and will be justified. No one should ever be ruined for having an opinion.

I hope everyone sees that the party of diversity is everything but when it comes to thought.

I don't want a random person giving me a hug. Unless it's a hot female.

Like one of the comments said, she defended her son, people who work there took offense and called her racist, so the company fired her.

This is a first to file type thing. She could have filed a complaint that she as being harassed. Not say a word, just send an email and call her boss prior to going on leave. Lawyer up and get paid.

I feel for both the mother in law who was fired as well as the employees of equity prime who had nothing to do with the firing but will now face the wrath of the e-mob. Right or wrong there are many people pushing to "cancel" the company which will effect all of the employees there and if they lose their jobs too over this their families as well. It’s a bad situation.

I do agree with Carlsons message that we are entering into dangerous times where an opinion can have you retaliated against or canceled, or even worse merely being a family member of someone else who people are trying to "cancel". It’s important to remember not to become that which we despise though.

To those of you who think the stepmom should sue:

The lawsuit will not be for wrongful termination it will be for defamation and Libel. It is beyond absurd for them to still have a post up on all of their social pages with her name and those accusations. EVEN IF she did something, when is the last time a company fired somebody and made it the front page of their website (and shut down the rest of their website).

Their reason stated to date has been indirectly that she posted something on social media they didn't like. In reality, a person running for Congress shared a private message that said no more than pray for us and I support you.

People keep saying this. Take 30 seconds and go read up on employment at will. No. People will not get paid for this.

The company will likely try to reach a settlement rather than associate with this case for years to come.

not on federal level. I smell EEOC complaints and a suit at the Federal district level. Company better hope that someone does not quit and spill the beans.

She could become an "equity" investor.
