Stephen King is an enormously arrogant individual.

This apology actually does have some weight.

No it doesn't because in two weeks he will be right back to his usual bullshite of calling people fascists and nazis. None of this "tone down the rhetoric" shite is genuine. Mark my words - in a month all of these tranny lovers will be vomiting their drivel like they never missed a beat.

At least he can admit he was wrong. Too many people cannot.

Exactly. It probably means more to people who are familiar with him.

Its only because his publisher screamed at him that he had a series coming out and told him to stfu. He really is not sorry at all.

What I give him credit for is not the apology but pointing out WHY his statement about stoning gays was wrong. That is important because a large number of Kirk haters keep posting those words without the context in which they were spoken. At least now if you choose to confront some vile leftist spouting that nonsense you can at least point to King's comments explaining the context. Won't change many minds but as you can see, King pointed out his error. Sure, it might have been about The Long Walk and Running Man but he could have apologized without the context. He added that statement to show how and why he was wrong so I give him credit for it. Yes, he will be right back to hating conservatives. He never stopped.

He wasn't saying Charlie did. Some girl tried to "gotcha" Charlie with a single verse from Leviticus (cherry picking). Charlie called her out and noted that a following verse talked about stoning homosexuals and basically asked should we do that too, since you're cherry picking?

Stephen King is repugnant but at least when he got the whole context, he recognized Charlie's point and apologized (likely in an attempt to avoid being sued).

OK. His tweet makes more sense with that added context.

I can assure you King doesn’t feel bad about this at all. His fake apology is forced by a PR guy. This liberal, trash, a-hole has no capability of self-reflection and this won’t change any of his beliefs.

An example of people just seeing some bullshite and forming an opinion without looking to see how accurate it is.

Instead of apologizing after he's gone, why didn't that stupid fricking mutt speak honestly before one of his kind acted upon the lies?

Because he didn’t know. He lives in an echo chamber in which all the lefty lies are believed by everyone.

He knows the shite he has spewed since he's been on that app has been lies. He absolutely knows that he shares fake information, and he does it with glee because it matches what he wants to be true.

Maybe he didn't know he was sharing fake info on this particular occasion. I happen to think with a high degree of certainty he knew exactly what he was doing. frick him until he dies a horrible death either way. Not just for this, but for the myriad other examples of being a subhuman, lying retard.

don't understand why people need to pile on after the fact.

Even if what he said was true, he posted it less than 24 hours after the guy was murdered. Not saying he doesn’t deserve forgiveness, but he also deserves all of the crap being slung at him.

I think you are underestimating how deluded these people are. They live in a bubble of “all the right people” They never talk to anyone like you or me, and they only read the NYT and WAPO and only watch things like The View. If they are ever in a crowd it is the opening gala for an art show or some event in which they are surrounded by like-minded progs.

I recently read a tweet by a former prog who was going off on this subject, and one of the things she said was that they gaslighted her on Kyle Rittenhouse. She truly believed he was just some criminal who murdered well-meaning lefties. It’s bizarre.

He has a new movie in the works, I'm sure the people backing it told him to fix this shite.
