Pretty much any animal fat is healthier than the seed oils they were using.
And I’m not even sure tallow tastes better given the amount of “engineering” that goes into making synthetic stuff taste better to get people to use it more.

That roast beef was the real deal. The fried chicken was pretty damned good too.

ignorance is bliss?
do you still buy margarine instead of butter?
cool whip hydrogenated whipped topping?
i predict inside of 5 years the 'seed oil' section at the grocery store will take up about as much shelf space as margarine products do now.

Neither tallow or seed oils are bad for you for frying if you eat it sparingly
Neither tallow or seed oils are good for you for frying if you eat it often
People and business should be free to choose
Seems rather straightforward

Honestly good. Replace it with healthier offerings. It’s crazy how much our diet has turned into nothing but fried foods and greasy crap

For those old enough to remember how good McDonald’s french fries used to be, the secret was beef tallow.

It's way healthier than seed oils. I cook with Avocado and Algae oil. Both high smoke points. I marinate with Olive oil.
I love steaks in Ghee, it's delicious.
Stay away from the Canola, sunflower, soybean oils, etc....

Um, ackshually....
McDonald's previously used beef tallow to fry their french fries. They switched to vegetable oil in the 90's to be "healthier".
Now the experts are saying seed oils are bad and beef tallow is good.

It tastes way better. When McDonald’s switched away from beef tallow the main consumers were outraged.

I know it is. My wife can't eat fried foods anymore. They make her feel horrible. It's been that way for years, and I have always assumed that is was whatever the food is being fried in. I can fry things at home in ghee or tallow and she eats it with no problems.

I’m going to preface this by saying I’d much prefer fries cooked in tallow, but saying Make America Healthy Again after praising a company who went from the healthy option to the unhealthier one pretty much sums up RFK.

When I was in Paris, I had fried chicken at a cafe. Tasted so much better. Didn't really taste fried or greasy. Tasted cleaner if that makes sense.

theres no way we have enough animal fats to supply the whole fried foods industry, right?

I've been hearing/reading about the dangers of seed oils and benefits of animal fats for a few years now, long before the current administration was in place.

I believe that switch was forced on them.

Food pyramid experts, who in the early 1990's sold the sham of the food pyramid and telling everyone their diets needed to have a heavy carbohydrate foundation of up to 11 servings a day, but only 3-5 servings of veggies, 2-4 servings of fruit, and 2-3 servings of meat.
In no way, shape, or form should you eat as much carbohydrates as you do the other 3 combined.
