Good luck. Same thing happened to me about 8 years ago out where Nicholson meets bluebonnet.

I was wearing a black shirt (lsu evo Devo shirt if anybody remembers that shite) and my car had black seats and the seatbelt was black.

Cop was sitting on bluebonnet and I was on Nicholson with the green light so going through at speed. He somehow was able to tell I didn't have a seat belt on.

He didn't believe me when I told him I was wearing it the entire time. Gave me a ticket. Tried to fight it. Lost. They believed the cop.

And these things aren't $20 either. Mine was around $75 which is a lot for a guy paying his way through college.

frick BR polIce is all I have to say

If you pull-up behind a car at an angle in the other lane, you can easily see whether a seat belt is on it not.

The buckle hangs right next to a person's shoulder if it's not

This-- the burden of proof is on the trooper to prove it. Unless he has a picture to prove his point the jude will rule in her favor- if she is convincing in her testimony

Was she speeding or committing another offense and he gave her the speeding ticket instead of a moving violation? I've gotten pulled over for speeding and the cop only gave me a seatbelt ticket. It is definitely only $25, I've had my fair share.

It's only a moving violation on highways, I'm pretty sure Joor isn't a highway.

Wow. I just don't have that amount of time to throw out the window for a $25 ticket

Post a pic of your wife in scrubs wearing her seat belt so we can determine if you have a case

i think Joor is a state highway, and she said she was not speeding, if anything she was following too close to the car infront of her

Fighting this is in court will cost you more than the $25. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose. Change scrub colors or toss a light weight jacket on when she is driving home.
