That's pretty equitable of you.

Personally, the death of some individuals would cause me no great stress.

she's just mindlessly following the agenda driven script that all of her fellow Democrats have been instructed to promote.

people like that are basically like the crazy homeless guy at the corner gas station who randomly yells at the clouds. just ignore them and move on in life.

So you truly think nothing is more callous than going out in public without a mask?

When the simple act of wearing a mask in public to try and prevent further spread of a highly contagious virus with no known cure or vaccine becomes a partisan issue, it might be time to shut this country down.

Her concern isn’t wrong. But her virtue signaling is ridiculous.

Oh shite, you got me there.

Giving a frick about every single human being is exhausting, not to mention practically impossible. Especially the mostly worthless pieces of shite that comprise the various legislative bodies of our country.

that does not equal what she said

if you have work that requires close proximity to older folks or those that might have medical issues (such as cancer or recovering from cancer), not doing something as simple as wearing face coverings (at least for the time being) is a pretty selfish act

It’s a normal virus in terms of contagiousness actually. It doesn’t stand out any more than many others. And the “no cure or vaccine” line is just a dog whistle that has zero context. As if it doesn’t matter than it’s not nearly as deadly as originally reported, we actually need it to spread to some degree, and the small vulnerable population needs to learn to protect themselves which they can do without government-enforced actions. Kinda like how we don’t ground airplanes if a pregnant mother decides to board one. Or shut down a whole theme park because someone enters with a heart condition. Those people are given warnings and are left to choose on their own. When did that stop becoming an option?

She called it the “height of callousness.”

It’s exactly what she said.

It wasn’t required. These people could have Skyped in. Staff could still work from home. Where is their responsibility?
